Join Norwegian activist Herman Reksten as he shares his photos and experiences as captain of the fishing vessel Al Awda (The Return) which was intercepted and boarded in international waters and taken to Israel on the 2018 Gaza Freedom Flotilla. This was his third attempt at breaking the blockade of Gaza even though he is not quite 30 years old! Get a feel for life on a boat trying to break the over 10-year-old Gaza blockade, and hear about plans for the 2020 Gaza Freedom Flotilla!

Herman is visiting the United States after spending six months as a crew member on a rescue boat in the Mediterranean.
